A lot has happened since Baby K was born.  We’re getting ready to do another FET next month and with all our fingers crossed I’ll get pregnant and by the end of the year Baby K will be a big sister.  I haven’t started any meds yet but should be in the next couple of weeks.  I have however been lucky enough to find a Doctor that will help in my quest to have a VBA2C.  I am so ecstatic that I got this lucky.  Pretty much the only draw is that he is 3hrs away, but I get to see my Doctor down here (as long as my records are sent to him) and I have to go to him for my ultrasounds.  We’re also going to set it up so that a week or so before my due date I’ll be staying at a hotel near the Doctor in case I go into labor.  It should be quite an experience.  Can’t wait!!

It’s been awhile since I’ve gotten on here (lost my password and things have been hectic).

I’m doing well.  Little Miss Baby K was born on February 15th.  She was 7lbs 11ozs and 18 3/4 inches.  She was absolutely beautiful andperfect (especially for being a couple of weeks early).  My recovery as been amazing.  So much easier than the last time.  I actually left less than 48 hour later and it’s been smooth sailing ever since.  I do have to say though that it’s been amazing to have my body back.  To actually have the pleasure of sleeping on my back and stomach – no words can describe.  LOL.  Her daddies are so happy to have her.  They’ve been sending pictures almost weekly.  I’m so glad that we were matched together.  They have been incredible through our whole journey.  And now we’re in the talks about a sibling.  YEAH!  The Doc said that I have to wait at least 6 months which is perfect since that’s what I was hoping he’d say.  So B & R are going to talk about it this weekend and I’ll wait and see what they say.  I don’t know if they’ll be ready in 6 months but at least we can get all the technicalities out of the way.  I’m so happy.

It’s been a long time since I’ve written anything on this blog site.  With the switching and upgrading of computers I just now finally got around to making a new password.

Things are going great.  The boys are doing wonderful in school and really seem to be enjoying it a lot.  I’m so glad that they are excited about it.  I hope that attitude stays with them for a long time.  I can’t believe we’re almost half way through their first year of school.  Where does the time go?

Thanksgiving was great.  We took a road trip to Pennsylvania to visit family and things went really well.  It was nice to see everyone after almost a year.  The boys were really happy to see their cousins and DH was thrilled to see his grandfather (who is doing a lot better than the last time we saw him).  All in all it was nice to get away for a few days, but it was just as nice to be home again and back into our own routine.

The pregnancy is going great.  I can’t believe we’re already in for the long haul.  On the 12th I have my next appointment (I’m already to appointments every 2 weeks) and then I have a 4D ultrasound on the 22nd.  That will be a lot of fun since I’ve never seen one in person.  I’m very curious to see if they can give a more accurate “guess” to the sex of the baby.  So we’ll see.  The Doctor said that the C-section will probably be scheduled anywhere between Feb 13-20th.  So the guys are picking out what dates they want and then we’ll see what matches the hospital calendar for that week.  I’m 27w4d today and only have a little over 10 weeks left before the C-section.  It amazing that we’re already almost down to the 2 month mark.  It’s really going to go fast after Christmas and the New Year are over.  WOW!!  I still haven’t decided if I’m going to pump or not.  I want to get as much of an opinion out of DH as I can, but I do want to have a decision before the New Year that way we can get things organized before the big day.  So we’ll see.  I’m just glad that the guys are so open minded and are willing to take what ever I can handle.  Whether that’s a few days, weeks, or months.  It just makes it so much easier on me.

Pregnancy wise there isn’t anything new to report.  I still get tired easily and am ready to take a nap in the afternoon.  I’ve also lost a lot of my appetite and can’t eat a lot at each meal.  So I just eat a little here and there.  Luckily there is still no “morning sickness” (and I hope it never comes).  I can’t believe we’re down to one more week before the OB appointment.  I’m so excited to have B here and to have the u/s done.  I am very curious to see if it’s one or two babies.  I am still guessing that it’s just one – but I still want to know for sure.  The clinic does their major u/s between 18-20 weeks so the guys will be here between the end of September and the beginning of October.  It seems like it’s so far off but it really isn’t.  It’s going to go by so fast.  WOW!!

We are definitely pregnant.  My BETA came back for today and it is up to 394.  And the nurse said that everything looked good so I don't have to change any of my med doses.

I don't have to go to NFC anymore.  She released me to an OB.  Unfortunately Hoptown couldn't get me scheduled in until July 20th.  It seems so far away but is really only 3 weeks.  The one good thing is that we'll definitely have a heartbeat by then.  So I won't have to go in more than once.  Bill's thinking about coming down for the appointment.  I think it would be nice for them to see where we live and what Doctors I'm going to be going to.  Hopefully we'll be able to go ahead and schedule the 20th week u/s too and then it'll be far enough in advance for R to ask for time off.  I really hope they can come down.

I went into NFC around 8am.  I didn't wait very long and got called back to give blood.  The nurse was very nice, she put down that the test had to be done by 1pm CST so that it could make it to Boston before they closed.  The boys and I drove home and around 12pm had some lunch, after which I promptly fell asleep.  Around 1:30pm our nurse from BIVF called to give us the news.  She didn't even give it away in her voice, she was very solemn.  She said "It came back positive and my HCG was 109."  I couldn't believe it, I almost fell off the couch because the blanket was wrapped around my legs.  I told her that I wanted to call Bill so she gave the number that they were at and I dialed.  B answered the phone and asked if I had any news, it was really hard to contain myself.  I told him "Happy Belated Father's Day!"  He said "No way!"  He just started screaming.  We were definitely all in shock.  I couldn't stop shaking and smiling all day long.  I called John and told him, then called his Mom to tell her. 

After John got home from work he took me out to dinner at Olive Garden (yum!)  We had a great time.  It was nice to be able to celebrate.  And I don't think any feeling in the world came pass up being able to take that next PIO shot.

I go back in on Thursday for a repeat blood test.  They're going to make sure that everything is where it needs to be.  And then from there we'll schedule the ultrasound, which should be around the 6 week mark so it'll be around July 4th.  WooHoo!!

I am so happy.

Well our blood test is tomorrow morning.  We should find out sometime after lunch.  I hope they call sooner than that though ….. I really want to know one way or the other. 

I did use another FRED this morning ……. and again it's a negative.  I really hope that the tests were damaged in shipping and that's why they're all coming up negative.  But either way we'll know tomorrow for sure.  I can't wait to get that phone call.

I just don't know what to make of this cycle.  I feel so normal.  No hotflashes, no moodiness, no chocolate cravings, no nothing.  At least nothing that I usually get when I'm on PIO and estrogen.  It's just so strange.  It's like it's just another day.  Weird!!

Well I got another negative this morning.  I used a FRED again (I hate him). I'm beginning to wonder if I should change the tests that I'm using.  I had a dream the other night about getting a BFP, but it was on a test that used blue dye…and I don't have any of those here.  Should I go buy some??  I don't know.  I wasn't really looking to buy anymore HPTs for this cycle (especially since I still have so many).

I want to SCREAM!!!!
